How it works

You don’t have to find a rent deposit. SmartCaution replaces your guarantee.
This means you can keep your money and use it for your move or to improve your new accommodation.
Our company undertakes to pay any debts you may have contracted with your landlord up to the limits indicated in your guarantee certificate.

How much does it cost ?

• For the first year, CHF 230: this is a registration fee that covers you up to 31 December of the year in progress.
• With effect from the following year: CHF 25 + 5% of the rent deposit requested.

Take for example a rent of CHF 1 500 per month :

Payment

At the end of each year, you will receive an invoice corresponding to your subscription for the following year. This has to be paid before 31 December of the year in progress.
